Importance of Cooking
Growing up , my mother never let me or my siblings eat fast food or even ultra processed foods. She did a lot of cooking and even made sure she took the grease out of greasy foods.
I am now a college student, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, so I do not have a lot of extra time. Even so, I make it a point to prepare my own breakfast, lunch, and dinners. What I prepare may be healthy or not, but it is 100x better in taste and health than fast food.
I, of course, still enjoy fast food, but in moderation. Cooking is important because it is overall healthier than eating out and it can save a lot of money. Eating out all the time can cut into your savings.
This blog should hopefully convince you to prepare
your own meals and show you that the food you eat doesn't have to be "health" food for a healthy lifestyle.
